Woolpower's Long Johns W's Protection LITE are a women's-fit flame-resistant base layer, designed for work and outdoor use in environments where exposure to flame, arc flash and static electricity is a real risk. Knitted in Sweden from a blend of 60% merino wool, 38% Viscose FR and 2% antistatic fibre, the fabric is Woolpower's thinnest in the Protection range, worn closest to the skin as a lightweight layer that wicks moisture and regulates temperature through the seasons. Wool is naturally flame-retardant and does not melt, which helps reduce the risk of burn injury, and the garment is certified to EN ISO 11612:2015 (A1, B1, C1) for flame protection, IEC 61482-2:2018 APC 1 (4kA) for arc-flash protection and EN 1149-5:2018 for antistatic properties. For full protection Woolpower recommends pairing it with other certified base and outer layers. The design has no length-wise inside seams, with all seams flat-locked to prevent chafing, and a soft elastic waistband carries the woven-in Woolpower logo. A size M weighs around 190g. Machine washable at 40°C on a delicate cycle.
