The Woolpower Mittens Thin 400 is a single-layer mitten liner built from Ullfrotté Original 400 g/m² — Woolpower's proprietary terry-loop knit of 70% merino wool and 30% polyamide. The terry construction traps a deep layer of warm air against your hand, while the flat outer face sits cleanly inside a shell mitten. The seam runs on the outside so there is nothing to press or chafe against your palm during long days on the hill or in the field. At 400 g/m² the liner suits cold conditions and lower-output activities such as a cold drive to a grouse beat, a static stalk or a winter hide sit. Pair it with a waterproof shell mitten for full insulation; for harder going, layer a thinner Woolpower base layer beneath. Produced entirely in Woolpower's factory in Östersund, Sweden, and machine washable at 60°C. Available in black in sizes M and L.
