The Woolpower Zip Turtleneck Protection 400 is a certified flame-resistant mid layer built for cold-weather professional and field use. Knitted in Sweden from Ullfrotté Original 400 — a 400g/m² terry-loop fabric blending 84% merino wool with 14% aramid, 1% elastane and 1% antistatic fibre — it delivers high thermal insulation while keeping wool's natural flame resistance (wool does not melt, reducing the risk of severe burn injury). The garment is certified to EN ISO 11612:2015 (A1, B2, C2) for heat and flame, IEC 61482-2:2018 APC 1 (4kA) for arc-flash protection, and EN 1149-5:2018 for antistatic properties, with an ATPV rating of 34.3 cal/cm². It's designed to be worn as a second layer, over a thinner certified base such as Woolpower's Protection LITE, for extra insulation in cold conditions or low-intensity work. The long-sleeved turtleneck has no lengthwise seams in the body, a longer back hem to prevent gaps when bending or reaching, knitted-in cuffs, and a short front zip for quick ventilation. Unisex fit — women are advised to size down by one. Machine washable at 60°C. Approximate weight in size M: 460g.
