When you purchase a firearm, shotgun or air weapon from an online retailer or another Registered Firearms Dealer (RFD) and wish to collect it through BushWear, this handling fee covers the administration involved in receiving the item on your behalf. Under UK firearms law, RFD-to-RFD transfers require the receiving dealer to log the item onto their register and verify the purchaser's licence or certificate before releasing the firearm. BushWear, as a licensed RFD, carries out these checks in compliance with current firearms legislation. The fee is charged per item received; multiple firearms or shotguns in a single transfer are each subject to the handling charge. Please contact BushWear before arranging any transfer so the team can confirm eligibility, ensure the correct paperwork is in order, and book the collection. The sending RFD will need BushWear's RFD certificate details prior to dispatch.
