The HIKMICRO EXPLORER E20 Clip-In Thermal Imager is a radically small, versatile, and powerful device. It slots straight into any Android phone or tablet that has a USB Type C socket and transforms the way the user can see the world - and at the very low price of £329.99.
Weighing in at just 26 grams and measuring under 27mm in each dimension, the EXPLORER requires no batteries, drawing only minimal power from the smartphone or tablet. It can be carried easily, ready for near-instant use for spotting birds, animals, people (or indeed any other heat source) in any lighting conditions, including full darkness.
Fitted with a 256x192 thermal sensor and 10mm focal length lens system, the EXPLORER delivers similar thermal performance levels to the best-selling HIKMICRO Lynx 10mm monocular, allowing a good level of image detail and allows you to locate small animals and birds with ease.
The explorer is controlled by the HIKMICRO Sight app and you get access to the same features as the other HIKMICRO products including 4 colour palettes, digital zoom, and the ability to capture image and video.
