The Pulsar Telos XL50 is a thermal imaging monocular designed around an upgradeable platform that lets owners swap in a more sensitive sensor, a more powerful objective or additional electronic modules — including a laser rangefinder — as the technology evolves. As shipped, it pairs a 1024×768, 12µm uncooled sensor with a 50mm f1.0 objective lens, giving a detection range of 2,300m and a 14×10.5° field of view. Magnification runs from 2.5× to 20× via an optical ring and 8× digital zoom, with Image Boost processing sharpening detail across low-contrast scenes such as open sky or standing water. The 1024×768 AMOLED display presents eight colour palettes to suit varying light and weather conditions. An ergonomic top-panel button layout, ambidextrous hand strap and traditional focusing and zoom rings keep handling intuitive for stalking and observation use. IPX7 protection against water ingress and an operating range of −25°C to +40°C make it a reliable choice in British field conditions. The LPS 7i battery delivers up to seven hours of runtime, with USB Type-C charging supported. Sixty-four gigabytes of internal memory stores footage and stills; Wi-Fi and the Stream Vision 2 app add remote control and firmware update capability. Weight 680g (without battery).
