The Vortex Sport Riflescope Ring in 1-inch Low keeps a 1-inch scope tube as close to the bore line as possible, with a centre scope height of just 0.80 inches above the rail. This low-profile position suits rifles with slim objective lenses where barrel clearance is not an issue, and brings the eyepiece down to a natural cheek weld without any raised comb required. Machined from 6061 aluminium with a Type 2 low-glare matte black anodised finish, these rings resist corrosion and glare in all conditions. An integrated recoil lug drops into the rail cross-slot to mechanically prevent forward scope movement under centrefire recoil — a more secure arrangement than friction alone. T-25 Torx cap and base screws are used throughout, with torque values laser-engraved onto the ring body: 15–18 in-lbs for cap screws and 30 in-lbs for base screws. This ensures a firm, consistent clamp without risk of crushing the scope tube. Each set contains two rings, a T-25 Torx wrench and two spare T-25 screws.
