The Frankford Arsenal Platinum Series Handheld Depriming Tool takes the primer-removal step off the press entirely. Built from robust die-cast aluminium and centred on Frankford's Universal Collet System, it lets you deprime spent brass by hand in four straightforward steps, with no need to set up a press or swap dies just to knock a few primers out. The system covers an unusually wide span of brass, from .20 calibre right up to .338 Lapua, and handles pistol brass as well as rifle cases, including military brass with crimped primers. Spent primers drop into a removable catch tube rather than scattering across the bench, so clean-up is quick, and an auto-ejecting case holder pushes each deprimed case free automatically. The handle is spring-loaded and returns to its start position on its own after every stroke, ready for the next case. For anyone loading small batches or working away from a full press set-up, it's a genuinely portable way to get brass ready for the next stage of reloading.
