The Frankford Arsenal Quick-N-EZ Impact Bullet Puller is a quick, no-fuss way to safely separate a bullet from its case without damaging either, which is handy for pulling down mis-loaded rounds, salvaging components or breaking down ammunition of an unknown load. The method is entirely mechanical: the loaded round sits in a collet inside the tool, the puller is struck firmly against a block of wood, and the resulting impact separates the bullet from the case in one motion — no solvents, presses or dies required. Three different collets are supplied, between them covering just about every calibre from .22 Hornet up to .45-70, whether the case is rimmed or rimless, so it copes with most rifle and handgun rounds a reloader is likely to be working with. It's a compact, portable tool that's easy to keep in a reloading kit or take to the range, and far quicker for occasional bullet-pulling jobs than setting up a collet press. A practical addition for any handloader who occasionally needs to undo a loaded round cleanly and safely.
