Lee's 50 BMG Ram Prime is the primer-seating attachment for Lee's Classic Cast single-stage press, machined specifically to the dimensions of the large .50 BMG case. Rather than seating primers with a separate hand-priming tool, it works off the leverage of the press ram itself, which for a case as large as .50 BMG gives a more controlled, consistent seat than a hand tool can manage. The shellholder supplied with it is sized to fit .416 Barrett as well as .50 BMG, so reloaders working with either of Lee's Large Series calibres only need the one tool. It's a straightforward, no-frills accessory rather than a standalone unit, and is also supplied as standard with Lee's 50 BMG Classic Cast Press Kit — buy it separately here to add ram-priming capability to a Classic Cast press you already own. Genuine Lee Precision manufacture, built to the same specification as the part fitted to Lee's own factory kits.
