The Lockdown Compact Automatic Dehumidifier is a thermo-electric unit built to keep gun safes, cabinets and small storage spaces free of the damp that causes rust and corrosion. Rather than relying on passive desiccant, it actively draws moisture out of the air — up to 250ml a day — and either collects it in a removable 600ml tank or drains it away continuously through the supplied hose to a nearby drain. A digital control panel lets you set your own humidity threshold, and the unit switches itself on and off automatically to hold that level, with a float sensor that stops it running once the tank is full. Compact enough for a cabinet or smaller safe at 9.25 x 6 x 4.5 inches and 2.46lb, it runs on AC mains power; it ships with US and CE plug fittings, so a UK three-pin adaptor will be needed here. Allow up to 24 hours after first setup for the unit to settle to the humidity of its surroundings. Genuine Lockdown product.
