The Wheeler AR Bolt Catch Install Punch Kit is a small, focused tool for one specific job: fitting the bolt catch roll pin on an AR-15 or AR-platform rifle cleanly and without marking the receiver. It includes two steel punches - a counter-bored starter punch that seats the pin squarely, and an indexing finishing punch that drives it flush - both flat on one side so the punch sits correctly against the receiver during use. Rubber over-moulding on the punch bodies protects the rifle's finish from stray taps with the hammer, and the whole kit is compact enough to carry in a range bag or tool roll alongside the rest of a Delta Series gunsmithing set-up. It won't do the work of a full punch set, but for anyone regularly fitting, replacing or servicing bolt catches on AR-pattern rifles, it takes the guesswork out of getting the roll pin seated correctly first time, every time.
