Bisley's Pewter L Figurine Falconer is a small pewter ornament depicting a falconer, part of the maker's wider range of country-sports pewter gift figures. It measures roughly 65mm high, 40mm long and 15mm deep, placing it in the 'L' size class alongside a matching Pewter L Figurine Spaniel, within a family of pieces that runs from smaller S-size ducks and gundogs up to the larger XL shooter and pheasant designs. As a falconer figure it makes a natural gift or small award for anyone with an interest in falconry - an austringer, a falconry club member, or a field-sports enthusiast who flies a hawk. Like the rest of the range, it is supplied by BushWear from Bisley's current pewter gift collection, sized to the maker's own specification. It is a compact, collectible piece rather than a functional item, best suited to a shelf, cabinet or trophy display.
