These Nosler Custom Competition projectiles are component reloading bullets for handloaders chasing tight groups on the range and in target rifle competition. Note that this is not loaded ammunition: it is a box of 250 bullet heads supplied for reloading your own cartridges. Each bullet measures .224 inches in diameter (22 calibre) and weighs 69 grains, with a hollow point boat tail (HPBT) form that suits the popular .223 Remington and 22 Nosler. The small meplat at the hollow point trims drag, while the pronounced boat tail keeps flight stable across a wide spread of velocities, giving a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.305 and a sectional density of 0.196. A concentric, lead-alloy core form-fitted inside a precision jacket gives the bullet the balance and consistency that match shooting demands, and every one is hand-inspected before it leaves the factory. To stabilise the 0.900-inch bullet, Nosler advises a barrel twist rate of at least 1-in-9 inches. A dependable, well-priced choice for the precision reloader.
