The Hornady Lock-N-Load Cartridge Gauge for 9mm Luger (.355) is a precision reloading tool that lets you verify finished rounds and sized brass against SAAMI chamber tolerances before they reach your pistol. Machined from high-carbon steel, the cylindrical gauge is cut to SAAMI maximum dimensions, so any cartridge or case that passes the go/no-go test will chamber reliably in any correctly cut 9mm chamber. To use it, simply drop the round or case into the gauge: if the case head sits flush with the back face, the cartridge is within spec; a groove around the gauge body marks the minimum and maximum headspace boundaries for an immediate visual check. The gauge works equally well on loaded rounds and unprimed brass, making it useful both mid-reloading session and as a final quality check before heading to the range. It also covers 9x21 brass dimensioned to .355 diameter.
