The Hornady Seater Die #11 is a precision bullet seating die for handloading .308 / 30 calibre rifle cartridges — one of the most widely used calibres among UK deer stalkers and target shooters alike. Hornady's In-line Bullet Seating System holds the bullet, the case neck and the seating stem in perfect alignment within a floating sleeve before the bullet enters the case neck, producing consistent seating depths that contribute directly to accuracy. The alignment sleeve is included as standard rather than as a paid extra. The die's built-in roll crimper removes the need for a separate crimp die and saves a station on the press. The Sure-Loc lock ring clamps around the full body of the die, applying even pressure; the locking screw tightens without touching the die threads, protecting both the ring and the thread form. Wrench flats are machined into the die body so it can be fitted and removed cleanly without risking pliers damage. A retainer ring near the base comes away in seconds for easy disassembly and cleaning. Thread is standard 7/8"-14, compatible with all presses that accept standard dies. Shell holder is not included.
