- Simple, low-cost way to speed up die changes on the press
Lee's 7/8-14 Self Locking Rings let a reloader set up a sizing or seating die once, then remove and refit it later without losing that setting — useful for anyone running the same press for several calibres or swapping dies between loading sessions. Each ring is billet aluminium and threads onto the standard 7/8-14 thread used by the great majority of reloading dies, including Lee's own range and most other manufacturers' dies. Instead of a conventional set screw, the ring locks by hand pressure alone: fit it to the die at the correct height, finger-tighten, and it holds that adjustment solidly through repeated use without marking the die body or needing a wrench. This is sold as a pack of three, enough to fit out a full three-die set — sizer, expander/decapper and seater — for one calibre, or to keep spares on hand for dies that don't already carry their own lock ring. A simple, inexpensive accessory that saves re-zeroing a die every time it comes off the press.
