Sierra MatchKing .22 calibre (.224") 53 grain hollow point bullets are precision-made components for handloaders, supplied in boxes of 100 — this is not loaded ammunition. Sierra holds each MatchKing to exacting tolerances on diameter and weight, with weight retention controlled to within 0.3 grain, and the very thin jacket and small meplat are designed to achieve the highest possible ballistic coefficient. These bullets have a long-standing reputation among UK and international target shooters, having been used to win more competitions than bullets from any other manufacturer. The flat base design suits the .22 calibre target disciplines these bullets were built for, with a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.224 and a sectional density of 0.151. Made in the USA, they are aimed at handloaders reloading for .222 Remington, .223 Remington and similar .22 centrefire cartridges who want consistent, repeatable accuracy on the range.
