The Caldwell Bench Accessory Bag No. 3 Optimiser is a pre-filled, ingot-shaped rest bag that ships ready to use straight from the box. It combines a leather contact surface, which gives the rifle a secure, grippy rest, with a polyester body that will not stretch or sag, so the bag holds its shape shot after shot. The ingot profile makes it one of the more versatile bags in Caldwell's bench accessory range: use it as a forearm or elbow rest, to raise the height of a rear bag, between the buttstock and the shoulder when shooting heavy-recoil rifles, as a heel rest for handgun work, or even as an expedient front rest. For load development, zeroing or off-season range practice ahead of the stalking season, it adds a steady support that helps you settle the crosshairs and read your groups. The bag measures 8in x 5in x 2-1/4in and works alongside most front rests and bench setups.
