The Caldwell Rock Jr 2 is the compact front rest, for zeroing, load development and bench work. It adjusts for elevation only — there is no windage adjustment — and it stands on a narrower base than the full-size Rock 2, which makes it the lighter rest to carry to the range. The matching rear bag is included, and it is the same bag supplied with the Rock 2.
Choosing between this and the Rock 2: the full-size Rock 2 adds windage adjustment and a wider iron base. Take the Jr 2 if you are happy to move the rest to change your point of aim.
