The Richter Fast Sight 1x22 is a compact reflex sight built for fast target acquisition on pistols, rifles and airguns fitted with a Weaver rail. It clamps onto rails 15-22mm wide and gives a long eye relief, so the shooter can keep both eyes open and stay on target while tracking movement. The illuminated reticle is offered in red only, with a choice of four patterns including a simple dot and a crosshair, selected by turning the control knob on the housing. Each reticle has five brightness settings, so it can be dialled down for dim conditions or turned up in bright daylight, and the unit is adjustable for both windage and elevation to get the point of impact dead on. At just 82mm long and 115g it adds very little bulk or weight to a rifle or pistol. It comes packaged in a smart ABS presentation box with an optics cover, a lens cloth, hex keys and instructions; a battery is needed to power the reticle but is not included.
