The Hawke Frontier 30 FD 1-10x24 MOA FD is a low-powered variable optic that covers the full range from 1× wide-field close-range shooting to 10× precision at distance. The first focal plane MOA FD reticle scales with magnification, so MOA-based holdover references remain accurate across the entire power range rather than being restricted to a single setting; a multi-LED illuminated centre aids fast target acquisition at any zoom level. Hawke's H7 optics use high-grade, low-dispersion Crown glass with 21-layer fully multi-coated lenses, producing a field of view of 38.8 m at 100 m on minimum power and 3.9 m at full magnification. Eye relief sits at 102 mm with a high-volume eyebox, giving a forgiving cheek weld position when swinging onto targets quickly. Elevation and windage are adjusted via exposed Zero Lock 'n' Stop turrets in 1/4 MOA increments — the locking push-pull mechanism prevents accidental movement in the field, and zeros are fully resettable. The 30 mm mono-tube chassis is nitrogen-purged for waterproof and fog-proof use in all weathers. At 540 g and 283 mm, the scope sits tidy on modern sporting rifles and comes supplied with a removable magnification throw lever and professional metal flip-up covers.
