The Hawke Frontier 30 1–8x24 LRX Tactical FD is the tactical-reticle variant in the Frontier 30 range, sharing the same H7 optical platform — with its high zoom ratio and excellent light transmission — but fitted with the LRX Tactical FD reticle on the front focal plane. The mil-based LRX design offers ranging and holdover references that scale accurately with the magnification at all times, making it a natural choice for precision target shooters and hunters who prefer a MIL-based system. The 1–8x magnification range takes you from open 1x use for rapid close engagement through to 8x for calling precise shots at distance. Low-profile turrets deliver 1/2 MOA click adjustments and sit flush to the tube to minimise snagging. The 30mm one-piece tube is nitrogen-purged, waterproof and fog-proof. At 24mm the objective keeps the scope compact and easy to mount low on the rifle. Equally capable on a sporting rifle for target days or on a woodland deer rifle where fast magnification changes are part of the session.
