The Swarovski Z8i 1–8x24 P II is the compact driven-hunt and close-range stalking variant of Swarovski's Gen II illuminated scope line. Its 1x true minimum magnification makes it suitable for snap shots at close moving targets, while the 8x upper end extends its usefulness to moderate deer-stalking ranges. The 24 mm objective keeps weight and length down — a meaningful advantage on a driven-deer rifle or a lightweight stalking setup where every gram counts. The Gen II cockpit redesign that defines the P II range reorganised the illumination selector and zoom ring into an ergonomic cluster that can be adjusted quickly without removing the cheek from the stock, including when wearing gloves. The 30 mm nitrogen-filled tube carries Swarovski's SWAROTOP and SWARODUR coatings for reliable low-light performance at dawn and dusk. The 4A-I illuminated reticle sits in the second focal plane, providing a consistent aiming point across the full magnification range. This variant ships with standard 30 mm L-rings for use on standard Picatinny or dovetail rail bases.
