The Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x40 BDC is a second focal plane riflescope from Vortex's popular entry-level Crossfire II line, built to exceed the performance of similarly priced optics. Its Dead-Hold BDC reticle uses a customised MOA hashmark pattern beneath the centre crosshair, giving hunters graduated holdover and windage references for quick, accurate shots at varying distances without having to dial the turrets. The 3-9x variable magnification and 40mm objective lens suit typical UK hunting ranges, and fully multi-coated lenses maintain a bright, clear sight picture. A single-piece aircraft-grade aluminium 1 inch tube is O-ring sealed and nitrogen purged for waterproof, fogproof reliability, with shockproof construction to withstand recoil. Capped, resettable turrets click in 1/4 MOA increments with 60 MOA of windage and elevation travel, and a fast-focus eyepiece allows quick reticle adjustment. Eye relief runs to 3.8 inches for safe use on recoiling rifles. At around 31cm long and 420g, it's a compact, versatile scope well suited to deer stalking and vermin control. Supplied with removable lens covers and a lens cloth.
