The Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x40 V-Brite is an illuminated riflescope built to bring low-light performance to Vortex's popular entry-level Crossfire II line, designed to outperform other scopes at a similar price point. It carries a V-Plex reticle with a battery-powered illuminated centre dot, so the aiming point stays visible against a dark background during dawn, dusk or overcast conditions where a plain crosshair can disappear. The 3-9x variable magnification and 40mm objective lens suit typical UK hunting ranges, and fully multi-coated lenses keep the image bright and clear. A single-piece aircraft-grade aluminium 1 inch tube is O-ring sealed and nitrogen purged for waterproof, fogproof protection, and the whole scope is shockproof to cope with recoil. Capped, resettable turrets adjust in 1/4 MOA clicks with 60 MOA of total windage and elevation travel, and a fast-focus eyepiece lets you dial the reticle in quickly. Eye relief runs to 3.8 inches for safe use on recoiling rifles. At around 31cm long and 454g, it's a practical, no-fuss optic for foxing and general hunting. Supplied with removable lens covers and a lens cloth.
