The Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x50 V-Brite is a clear, tough and genuinely capable riflescope built to a classic, do-it-all specification for stalking and vermin control at typical UK ranges. Long eye relief, a fast-focus eyepiece and fully multi-coated lenses keep the sight picture bright and the eye box forgiving, while the 50mm objective lens gathers plenty of light as dusk closes in. The V-Brite reticle uses the familiar V-Plex format together with battery-powered electronics to illuminate the centre dot, giving a fast, precise aiming point when the light is at its worst. Parallax is fixed at 100 yards, matched to the ranges most stalkers and foxers actually shoot at, and resettable, capped 1/4 MOA turrets give 60 MOA of windage and elevation adjustment. The hard anodised, single-piece aircraft-grade aluminium 1-inch tube is nitrogen-purged and O-ring sealed, so it stays properly waterproof and fogproof whatever the weather. 3-9x magnification is a genuinely versatile range for woodland and open hill ground alike. Supplied with removable lens covers and a lens cloth, this is dependable, well-proven glass for anyone starting out or wanting a reliable back-up scope.
