The Vortex Crossfire II 4-12x44 BDC is a variable-power riflescope from Vortex's popular entry-level Crossfire II line, built to outperform similarly priced optics on the market. Its Dead-Hold BDC reticle carries a customised MOA hashmark pattern below the centre crosshair, giving hunters graduated holdover and windage references so shots at varying distances don't need constant turret dialling. The 4-12x variable magnification and 44mm objective lens suit longer-range hunting and pest control where a bit more reach is useful, and fully multi-coated lenses keep the picture bright in low light. A single-piece aircraft-grade aluminium 1 inch tube is O-ring sealed and nitrogen purged for waterproof, fogproof performance, with shockproof construction to cope with recoil. Capped, resettable turrets click in 1/4 MOA increments with 50 MOA of windage and elevation travel, and a fast-focus eyepiece makes reticle adjustment quick. Eye relief runs to 3.9 inches for safe use on recoiling rifles. At around 34cm long and 442g, it's a solid, versatile scope for UK deer and vermin work. Supplied with removable lens covers and a lens cloth.
