The Vortex Diamondback 3-9x40 is the classic all-round deer scope: a versatile 3-9x zoom range and 40mm objective lens that suits everything from woodland stalking to open hillside shots. One-piece aircraft-grade aluminium construction and argon gas purging make it waterproof, fogproof and shockproof, standing up to the recoil of a hard-kicking stalking rifle, while fully multi-coated optics deliver bright, sharp images through the fast-focus eyepiece. It carries the Dead-Hold BDC (MOA) reticle, calibrated for trajectory so you have pre-set holdover points for windage and elevation rather than guesswork - genuinely useful when a stalk puts you at a range you hadn't planned for. Capped turrets adjust in precise 1/4 MOA clicks with 70 MOA of windage and elevation travel, mounted in a 1 inch tube with 3.3 inches of eye relief. At 11.61 inches long and 14.4oz, it's a compact, well-balanced optic for a lightweight rifle. Removable lens covers and a lens cloth are included.
