Vortex's Switchview SV-3 throw lever is built for the Razor HD Gen II riflescope, clipping onto the magnification ring so you can wind the power up or down with one smooth flick instead of gripping and twisting a bare metal ring. It's sized for a 1.930 inch (49mm) magnification ring diameter, matching the metal ring fitted to the Razor HD Gen II. Like the rest of the Switchview range, it's machined from skeletonised, hard-anodised aluminium - strong enough for hard field use but light enough to add almost nothing to the scope's overall weight. Fitting takes only a couple of minutes with the supplied Allen key, and the lever can be removed just as quickly if you want the ring back to standard. For anyone running a Razor HD Gen II for stalking, driven days or fast target transitions, being able to change magnification instantly without breaking your cheek weld or hunting for grip on the ring is a genuine practical gain, particularly in cold weather or when wearing gloves, when a bare magnification ring becomes fiddly to turn.
