The Vortex Viper PST Gen II 3-15x44 SFP is a second focal plane tactical riflescope suited to UK deer stalking, target work and general tactical use. Unlike Vortex's first focal plane models, the EBR-4 reticle stays a constant size in the sight picture as you zoom, and its MOA-based subtensions for ranging, holdover and windage correction are calibrated to be accurate at the top of the magnification range — 15x on this scope — rather than at every power setting. Exposed tactical turrets adjust in precise 1/4 MOA clicks with 25 MOA of travel per rotation, giving up to 75 MOA of maximum elevation and 40 MOA of maximum windage adjustment for dialling long-range shots, and the integrated mechanical RZR zero stop returns you to your exact zero every time with positive engagement. Extra-low dispersion (XD) glass and XR fully multi-coated lens elements deliver a bright, high-resolution image, with ArmorTek coating protecting the exterior lenses from scratches, oil and dirt. Parallax is adjustable from 20 yards to infinity. The aircraft-grade aluminium chassis is waterproof, fogproof and shockproof, and comes with a CR2032 battery, lens cloth, 2mm hex wrench and 3-inch sunshade.
