The Franchi Horizon Syn is the firstborn of Franchi's Horizon family of bolt-action hunting rifles, built for selective stalking and lookout-tower work where a light, dependable rifle matters. This .223 Remington version pairs a matt-blued steel action and 22" barrel with a black synthetic stock, keeping overall weight to around 3.2kg. The fluted, chromed-steel bolt runs on Franchi's Dependa Bolt three-lug system, giving a 60° lift and fast, smooth cycling even with a large scope tube fitted or in icy conditions. Feed comes from a detachable 4-round magazine, and the cold rotohammered chromium-molybdenum barrel carries a 1:9" twist and a 1/2" x28 UNEF muzzle thread ready for a sound moderator, backed by Franchi's 1 MOA three-shot accuracy guarantee. The Relia Trigger breaks cleanly and adjusts between 0.8 and 1.9kg, and the stock carries pre-set sling-swivel and bipod-stud mounting points, with a sling supplied as standard. As a Section 1 firearm, a valid Firearm Certificate covering this calibre is required before purchase, with delivery by face-to-face collection or RFD-to-RFD transfer.
