The Tikka T1x MTR is a purpose-built .22LR bolt-action rimfire rifle from Sako's Finnish rimfire specialists, aimed at shooters who want a serious tool rather than a casual plinker. This 20in-barrelled version carries a cold hammer-forged, medium-heavy barrel with a 1/2x20 UNF threaded muzzle for UK moderator fitment, protected by a plastic thread cap when not in use. Feed comes from a detachable 10-round polymer magazine, with the smooth, positive Tikka bolt action the rifle is known for across its centrefire T3x stablemates. The modular synthetic stock shares the same accessory interface as the T3x range, so aftermarket grips, cheekpieces and other T3x-compatible furniture can be fitted to tailor the rifle to the shooter. It suits foxing, rabbit and vermin control, ferreting and general small-game work where a dependable, accurate rimfire with moderator compatibility is wanted. Built to Tikka's usual standard of fit and finish, and supplied by BushWear as a genuine current-range Tikka rifle.
