The Napier Ranger 3 is a compact, day-pack-style backpack built for shooting, stalking and general country use, where kit needs to stay dry and the load has to ride comfortably over long days on the hill. The body is made from waterproof polyester to a high specification, so cartridges, layers and a flask stay protected when the weather turns. The shoulder straps are reinforced and fully adjustable, letting you set the carry to your own back length and keep the weight settled rather than dragging at your shoulders. A moulded base helps the pack stand correctly and hold its shape even when only part loaded, which makes packing and unpacking easier in the field and stops the contents collapsing into the bottom. The Advantage Timber camouflage finish breaks up the outline against woodland and hedgerow, a useful detail when you are moving on game or sitting up over a high seat.
