The SwedTeam Alpha 5 is a compact 5 litre rucksack built for days when a full-size pack is more than you need. Whether you are slipping out for a short stalk, sitting a high seat for the evening or carrying the essentials alongside a larger pack, it holds a knife, gloves, flask and spare layer without the bulk. The exterior is SWEDTEAM MOLLTEC, a light, flexible and water-resistant fabric the Swedish brand developed specifically for its rucksacks, with the added benefit of reduced noise when you brush through cover. Thin mesh shoulder straps keep the carry cool and unobtrusive, while a padded back panel adds stability so the pack sits close and quiet on the move. It is also prepared for a hydration reservoir, available separately, for longer days on the hill. At just 0.65 kg, the Alpha 5 is the sort of pack you forget you are wearing until you need what is in it.

Sturdy and sensible

I’m an over packer so having a sensible sized pack like the alpha 5 is great as I can only fit the essentials in it. Used it twice for stalking and both times it held everything I needed(plus choccy bar and coffee flask)
