This is a Kahles flip-up lens cover for the 50mm objective end of the scope, made to fit the Kahles K318i, K312i, Helia and Helia 3 riflescopes. It is a protective accessory, not a scope, and clips over the front lens to keep rain, mud, snow and dust off the glass between shots. The spring-loaded hinge flips the cover clear the moment you need to mount the deer or fox in the reticle, then snaps shut again to shield the lens when you are moving through cover or sitting out a wet morning on the high seat. Sized specifically for the 50mm objective, it seats cleanly on the listed Kahles models rather than relying on a generic stretch fit, so there is no risk of it working loose as you stalk.
