The Hawke Honeycomb Sunshade for 50mm AO objective lenses is specifically designed for Hawke riflescopes with a 50mm adjustable-objective (AO) bell, where the outer diameter of the objective housing differs from that of a standard fixed-objective 50mm scope. At just 9mm deep it adds minimal length to the rifle while delivering the key benefit of the honeycomb design: eliminating glare and reflection flash from the objective lens. In a deerstalking or hunting context, any reflection off the front glass can alert game at close range; this sunshade removes that risk. It also shades the front element against direct sunlight to reduce eyepiece flare. Compatible with Hawke riflescopes from the 2015 collection onwards. Not compatible with pre-2019 Frontier riflescopes, and Hawke metal flip-up lens covers cannot be fitted over it.
