Britannia Rails' standard-length Picatinny rail is a direct-fit replacement base for the CZ 457, converting the rifle's factory 11mm dovetail to full Picatinny/Weaver spec. It slides onto the dovetail and locks down with six grub screws plus two 6-48 receiver screws for a very secure lock-up; every screw needed, including the Allen key, is supplied in the box. CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminium and finished with a hard anodised coat, the rail measures 184mm long and sits at 0 MOA — a flat mounting plane with no built-in cant, so point of aim tracks the bore with no elevation offset to compensate for. Fitting it opens up the whole Picatinny/Weaver mount and optic market to a CZ 457 owner who would otherwise be limited to dovetail-specific rings — night vision and thermal add-ons, cantilever mounts and Picatinny bipod adaptors all become straightforward options. No gunsmithing is needed; it's a straight swap for the factory base using the tools provided.
