The Britannia Rails CZ 527 AL Universal Reversible Extended is a one-piece Picatinny base built specifically for the CZ 527 action, fitted using side clamps rather than the factory dovetail, and it also fits the Brno Fox. It is fully reversible, so it can be turned end-for-end to suit where you want the rail sitting on the action, and its extended, cantilevered profile pushes the mounting surface forward to give better eye relief - useful with today's larger scopes, thermal units and night vision add-ons that need more room than a standard-length rail allows. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminium at 0 MOA and 179mm long, it is cut to true mil-spec Picatinny dimensions, so it will take any standard Picatinny ring, quick-release mount or clip-on accessory. Precision engineered in the UK by Britannia Rails, it is a straightforward way to move a CZ 527 or Brno Fox onto the Picatinny standard without needing further work on the action itself. Have it fitted and torqued by a competent gunsmith, and check ring and eye-relief clearance with your own optic before zeroing.
