The Britannia Rails Howa 1500 Short Action Drone Pro Mount Gen II is a dedicated Picatinny base for running night vision and thermal weapon sights on the Howa 1500 short action. Unlike Britannia's standard extended rail, the Drone Pro sits higher off the action, giving the clearance needed for dedicated add-on units such as the Armasight Drone Pro, Pulsar N970/N870/750/550 and ATN X-Sight, or any other Weaver/Picatinny-based night vision sight. It's machined from 7075-T6 aluminium and hard anodised for a tough, corrosion-resistant finish, and locks firmly onto the action with four 6-48 screws (supplied), fitted using the included T15 hex bit. A T15 Torx key and Vibra-Tite anti-vibration threadlock are also supplied, so the fixing screws stay secure under recoil. Cut to true mil-spec Picatinny dimensions at 0 MOA and 184mm long, this is the Gen II version of Britannia's Drone Pro mount, precision engineered in the UK. It's the rail to reach for if you're running a dedicated night vision or thermal add-on on a Howa 1500 short action rather than a day scope.
