The Britannia Rails Sako 75/85 Action III/Action S rail is a one-piece 0 MOA Picatinny base built to sit directly over the factory Optilock bases on Sako 75 Action III and Sako 85 Action S actions, giving stalkers and target shooters a solid mil-spec rail without any machining of the receiver. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminium and finished in hard-anodised black, it is built to handle real field use rather than just a trip to the range. At 149mm long with an 11mm dovetail, it covers the short-action Sako chamberings — 22-250 Remington, .243 Winchester, .260 Remington, 7mm-08 Remington and .308 Winchester — and converts the rifle's factory dovetail to a full-length Picatinny rail, so day scopes, night vision add-ons and thermal clip-ons can all share the same repeatable zero. Sitting at 0 MOA, the rail keeps the mounting platform flat rather than adding elevation cant, which suits closer-range stalking and driven work where a level sight picture matters more than reaching out to extreme distance. It is a straightforward way to bring an older Sako action up to modern Picatinny-mount specification.
