Britannia Rails' 20 MOA picatinny rail is built for the right-handed Tikka 595 and 590 actions - it also fits the Tikka 558 - giving stalkers extra built-in forward elevation cant for long-range work with a scope, night vision or thermal unit mounted via Picatinny/Weaver rings. Like the rest of the Britannia range it is machined in the UK from 6061-T6 aluminium and finished with a hard-anodised coating, then cut to true MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny spec so the mount locks on with no play once torqued down. The 20 MOA cant is built into the rail itself rather than the scope mount, which keeps more of a long-range scope's elevation adjustment in reserve for the shot rather than using it up just getting on paper at distance. The rail bolts straight onto the top of the action using the maker's standard fixing screws, and Britannia Rails include a dose of Vibra-Tite anti-vibration threadlock in the pack so the screws stay put under recoil without needing periodic re-torquing. A sensible upgrade for anyone stretching a Tikka 595, 590 or 558 out to longer ranges.
