The Warne 2RM is a 1 inch, high-height Permanently Attached (PA) scope ring made specifically for the Ruger No.1, Blackhawk and Mini-14/30 dovetail pattern. As with all of Warne's Ruger-specific rings, the mounting dovetail is cut straight into the receiver, so the 2RM clips directly onto it with no separate base to fit — the ring's scalloped recoil key seats into the dovetail for a secure, positive lock. Built from solid steel in Warne's vertically split Maxima design and finished in matte black, the extra ring height over the medium 1RM gives clearance for objective lenses up to 52mm, making it the better choice for bulkier 1 inch scopes where the bell would otherwise foul the barrel or receiver on a medium ring. Each ring mounts to the receiver and clamps around the scope tube with four Torx T-15 socket-cap screws, torqued to a maximum of 25 in-lb. Sold as a pair and permanently fixed once fitted. This ring is for the Ruger No.1/Blackhawk/Mini-14 dovetail only — it will not fit a Ruger M77, Hawkeye or Super Redhawk, which use a different, tapered-receiver ring pattern.
