The Express Ultimate Power is a 12 gauge shotgun cartridge from Lyalvale Express, one of the UK's longest-established cartridge makers. This load carries a 36g shot charge of lead No.4 shot over a fibre wad, with a quoted muzzle velocity of 1480fps, and is built on a 70mm chamber for standard 12 bore guns. The fibre wad avoids leaving plastic wad debris in the field, which suits shoots and estates that ask for biodegradable loads. No.4 shot puts this towards the larger end of the Ultimate Power range, giving useful pattern density and knockdown power for pheasant and partridge at typical driven and walked-up ranges, and it will also do a job on duck and pigeon. As with all shotgun ammunition, this is sold subject to firearms regulations and is available to collect in-store or reserve via BushWear's shops rather than by home delivery, since courier firms no longer carry ammunition.
