Hull's Pro Twenty is a 20 bore competition cartridge built for clay shooters who want consistent patterns without harsh recoil. Loaded to a 67mm case with a 24 gram shot load of 7.5 shot, it sits behind a biodegradable fibre wad rather than a plastic cup, giving a softer-shooting round that's kinder to the ground on the clay stand. Hull load the Pro Twenty with competition-grade hardened shot, which holds its shape better through the barrel and produces tighter, more even patterns downrange at a stated muzzle velocity of 1400fps. It's a versatile 20 bore load, equally at home on sporting clays, skeet and trap layouts, and popular with shooters moving up from 12 bore or looking for a lighter-recoiling cartridge for a long day at the stand. As a fibre-wadded round it's accepted on grounds that don't allow plastic wads, making it a sensible choice for competition use as well as practice.
