Hull's High Pheasant Extreme is a 20 bore cartridge built for the genuinely high, fast birds that standard game loads struggle with. Loaded in a 70mm case for use in 20 bore guns proofed to 2.75in/70mm chambers, this No.6 shot version reaches a muzzle velocity of 1360fps. The Extreme range uses Hull's hardened Xtrm shot, which resists deformation as it leaves the barrel, giving denser and more even patterns at longer range than standard soft lead shot — exactly what's needed on a high, driven pheasant crossing overhead at speed. A fibre wad carries the shot down the barrel, in keeping with Hull's biodegradable approach across the range.
