The Nosler Ballistic Tip Varmint 6mm .243 80gr bullet (part 24080) is a reloading component designed for flat-shooting varmint and small-game work. The streamlined purple polymer tip is colour-coded by calibre, resists deformation in the magazine, and drives rapid, consistent expansion on impact. Beneath the tip, a gradually thickening jacket wall controls the expansion sequence, while the ballistically engineered Solid Base boat tail improves long-range ballistic performance and makes chambering smoother. With a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.329 and a sectional density of 0.194, the 80gr projectile is well matched to .243 Win and 6mm Rem rifles twist rates of around 1:9" or faster. The overall bullet length is 0.990". Supplied in a box of 100, these are a practical buy for the handloader who shoots foxes, rabbits or other varmint species from a .243 and values consistent results at distance.
