The Laurin Metalli Mushroom Blade is a bare blade blank manufactured in Kauhava, Finland — a town with over a century of knifemaking heritage. Measuring 58 mm long, 17 mm deep and 2 mm thick, the compact mushroom profile is shaped for knives used in foraging and fungi gathering, but the short, curved blade also lends itself well to caping small game and fine field dressing work. The steel is X50CrMoV18 stainless, a corrosion-resistant grade that takes and holds a sharp working edge without demanding constant maintenance in damp woodland conditions. Blades arrive sharpened and ready for handle fitting — no polishing required before use.
