The Caldwell Duramax 5 Inch Self Healing Target Square is a solid block of ballistic polymer built to soak up round after round without falling apart. When a bullet strikes, the polymer closes back up behind it, so a single square can be shot thousands of times before it needs replacing — a far more economical way to run regular practice than working through stacks of paper or card. It is rated for pistols and rifles from .22 LR all the way up to .50 BMG, which covers everything from a rimfire plinker to a full-bore stalking rifle, so it suits zero checks and off-season trigger time alike. Because the square sits loose on the ground rather than hanging in a frame, it reacts to every hit — bouncing, rolling, spinning or flipping — giving instant feedback you can see through the scope and keeping range sessions engaging.
