The Truglo Fat-Bead TG948CD is a large-diameter, CNC-machined fibre-optic bead replacement for shotguns, designed to give a bigger, brighter reference point on the rib than a standard factory bead. It uses Truglo's dual-colour fibre optic, so the shooter sees red and green segments in the one sight for a distinctive, easy-to-pick-up sighting point in a range of light conditions. The dual-colour fibre is .120" in diameter with a 0.5" fibre length, and this version is threaded to fit 2.6mm mounts, replacing the existing bead on guns drilled and tapped to that thread size. As with all Truglo bead replacements, fitting is a straightforward screw-in swap once the correct thread size is confirmed for the barrel. It is a genuine Truglo part, endorsed by Ducks Unlimited, and suits clay and game shooters after a clearer, more visible front sight than the standard bead supplied on most shotguns.
